Song of the Day.

My little (6' 3" 110 lbs. sigggggggh so sad) brother and I went for a drive on Sunday to check out the progress on the new house.  Did I tell you my parents are moving? Well now you know.  It was gorgeous weather and as we cruised down the boulevard and made our way to NSL, I enjoyed a truly sublime view of the sunset over the Great Salt Lake.  He recently turned 16 so this was my first official ride in his new "whip". Naturally, he had his new stereo system all set up and popped in a random CD.  Seconds later I was more than pleasantly surprised to hear one of my favorite singles [ever] being played.  If there's any influence I've executed correctly as an older sister, this is it:

Falling
Ben Kweller

Wind is cold alright back in Dallas.
The neon light from the building lets
you know you're home.
You'd go way back when if you wanted to be
my friend or you'd call me. I'd
understand, it's true.

Wait there, I'll be right back.
Down in Times Square it's a heart attack.
All the feeling makes you feel so new.
Trees fall and so do men.
Even the walls start caving in and you feel like
there's no pretend for you.

We could talk if days weren't so fast,
and mistakes just leave it so unsure.
Wanna hold you like never before
'case we're falling and I love you more and more.

Do you feel like you're falling down?
I don't feel like I'm falling-falling-falling down.

Okay, maybe not of all time, but he's up there and he's definitely my favorite artist
