Undefeated: the sweet taste of victory.

Here are some sweet pictures from the rivalry game this week! It was a great game. The whole family went and we had a great time! Now we're just sitting around to see where the BCS will throw us. . . go utes!

There's a Light!

A few weeks ago I was sitting in my creative arts class with one of my favorite friends, Natalie. It was Halloween and our teacher did lots of funky stuff. He told everyone (out of this class of 900 people) that we could dress up. He showcased a lot of funny costumes, including Sully's. Sully is a 45 year old freshman at USU who gets involved with EVERYTHING. He has a mullet, that is longer than my hair, wears leather jackets daily, always has a cape draped over his back, and is just all around hilarious. Anywho, for Halloween, he decided the be the "ultimate warrior". There isn't a lot I can say about his costume except for spandex, cape, and mask. Haha.
So after this showcase of him and some other students (oh, captain moroni was another favorite) our teacher showed us some clips from "classic" Halloween videos. The first one was What Lies Beneath. I'm no fan of scary movies so being in a pitch black auditorium watching this creeped me out. After watching the disgusting murder scene, Dr. Peterson put on a film about two couples that get stranded because their car breaks down. All I can say is that the filmed made my day. Ha. It is possibly one of the funniest things I have ever seen and I watch it a couple times a day.
Enjoy!

another thing to waste my time with

Well hello. I decided that since i LOVE looking at my family and friends blogs, I had to give in. So here it is "Brooke Shoko". Pretty self explanatory. I was thinking it would be really funny to name this blog my Social Security #, but decided against it. This still is a little awkward, but oh well i guess. My sister Corrine likes to tease me for being awkward, but there's no way around it.

To put things in a better perspective, here are some reasons why I should not have a blog:
-I'm a student, there's always something I can be studying
-I'm going to spend extra time looking at new ones I discover
-I still haven't finished Breaking Dawn
-It won't be nearly as entertaining as "Seriously So Blessed"
-The economy is suffering and I should be out earning money instead

However I'm excited to post some pictures and leave an occasional note.
Have a great Sunday and Go Utes,

Brookie
